Flexco’s line of ESD products is an excellent
choice for what we consider to be two very
important reasons. First, they have an excellent
knowledgeable and friendly support staff, from
sales representatives to technical services.
Second, as an installation company we can be
100% confident that when the recommended
installation guidelines are followed, (in our
opinion) there will never be a product failure,
and this has been the case in our experience
for the last 12 years. Flexco’s ESD products
would be our recommended choice.

The effects and annual losses attributed to electrostatic discharge (ESD) are estimated
to run into the billions of dollars just in the electronics industry alone.
To control the static charge, FLEXCO combines conductive or dissipative vinyl tile with
a specially formulated conductive adhesive. This creates a conductive pathway which
allows the static to flow through the tile and along the adhesive to the ground point.
That makes FLEXCO ESD static control vinyl flooring an effective first-choice solution to
control unwanted human body voltage in areas where mobility cannot be restricted by
wrist straps. May contribute to LEED CI and NC credits MR 4.1, MR 4.2, MR 5.1, MR
5.2, MR 6.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
To meet specific application requirements, FLEXCO offers static control flooring in two standard electrical resistance ranges: conductive vinyl tile with an average pointto-
ground electrical resistance of 2.5 x 104 to 1.0 x 106 ohms, and FLEXCO static
dissipative vinyl tile with a range of 1.0 x 106 to 1.0 x 108 ohms. Static propensity is
less than 5 volts for conductive and less than 20 volts for static dissipative tile. Each
tile is tested by FLEXCO to guarantee electrical performance before packaging.
+ Lifetime conductivity warranty.
+ Provides static control throughout the
entire work environment.
+ Passive system requires minimal routine
monitoring.
+ Conductive properties are incorporated into
the tile.
+ Comes in attractive, random patterns and
a variety of colors.
+ Contains an antimicrobial that resists bacteria
and fungi when tested in accordance with
ASTM G 21.
+ May be seamlessly installed with FLEXCO’s
Vinyl Welding Beads for clean rooms and
areas that have strict requirements for added
hygiene.
+ Flexible to conform to subfloor irregularities and
to accommodate flash coving.
+ Exceeds ADA recommendations for slip
resistance on flat surfaces.
+ Resists indentation and performs under heavy
rolling loads up to 2,000 psi.
+ Resists wear, abrasions, solder and many
common chemicals.
+ No floor finishing required. Higher luster is
achieved by buffing – no waxing.
+ Meets or exceeds all ESD control standards
when tested by ASTM F 150, NFPA 99,
ESD S7.1 and UL 779.
+ Does not release carbon particles into the air.
+ Uses solvent-free epoxy adhesives and is
DOP (dioctyl phthalate) free.
+ Dense, homogeneous solid vinyl tile
composition meets ASTM F 1700 and makes
floor maintenance easier.
+ Static decay less than 0.01 second per
Federal Test Method 101C, Method 4046
at 15% Relative Humidity.
+ One gallon of adhesive included for every 175
sq. foot of tile purchased, as well as 1-18"
piece of copper foil for grounding.
